To be clear, vaccines are a 2021 event. Mid-2021 if things are going well. But so far things are going well. The reason it’s hard to get past a six on the scale, is despite the rapid work from Moderna, Oxford, Pfizer, and Sanofi, in the end how many people the vaccine works for and who can take it will be unknown for some time.

Creation of a vaccine is one thing; mass distribution is another.

If somebody tells me that they have a vaccine they are ready to inject ME (not some VIP politician, but me) with before 1Q2022, I’ll be shocked.

And I’ll be even more shocked if that vaccine is better than 60% effective.
