I am 66 and regular patient at a large clinic in Houston. I am STILL WAITING, because the regular health care channels are apparently deprioritized in favor of the drive up, government run outlets.
That said, I do disagree with your views on vaccine selection. Traditional vaccines are historically less effective for senior citizens, and there is a reason why a vaccine has never been developed for that other coronavirus, the common cold. The mRNA vaccines potentially negate those two issues. So, although you're correct from the standpoint of public health (get something into your arm as soon as possible), I'll wait on Pfizer or Moderna, thank you.
