Free market philosophy? Hardly.
Completely. You need to learn to spit out the seeds. The fact that the system is not perfect does not mean that it’s a different system.
The rest of your bullet points are attempts to characterize globalism as a few corporate ad-ons. They are not.
Globalism is not an add-on; it’s simply a condition where the free market so easily spans international borders that it causes misallocations and distortions. These can be cleaned up, such as the recent corporate tax restructuring in the US. You can throw out the baby with the bathwater if you wish, but it’s not advisable.
Describing what is going on out there as free market capitalism is as inaccurate as calling the Soviet Union’s serial dictatorship socialism.
Well, since the USSR’s system WAS a form of socialism, without question, I think we’re done here. :-)
Your free market capitalism does not exist outside of textbooks and wingnut web sites.
Well, it doesn’t exist in a textbook perfect form, of course. Nobody argued that it did.
Really? Tin foil hat alert? Tell that to the $537 billion proposed cut from Medicare in the latest Rep budget.
Be glad to. That rather hamhanded idea was unrelated to either the personal or corporate tax schemes.
You’re kinda making my point for me here.
That what, you’re about to quote Milton? Better for your political ideas to rule in an America with a rapidly decreasing standard of living, then be ruled in relative prosperity by a system you don’t like?
