But, this is where I disagree strongly with Michael. Imo, given that she near darn won, Hillary did far, far better than Sanders could have hoped.

Well, right. The “Bernie would have won” people neglect to consider that 99% of the GOP’s heavy candidate-smearing artillery was aimed at Clinton. Remove Clinton from the picture, the GOP retargets those missiles, and uses all sorts of rich information from Sanders’ past (and there is a LOT) to make him unacceptable to the american voter.

Sanders would not have done as well as Hilary. He would have still lost the Obama voters, lost more independents, and not done as well with women.

For Democrats, America can’t become black and brown fast enough.

And America won’t. Senior citizens will grow as a percentage of the total voter population until 2045–2050 or so. The Democrats have made themselves into the No Party for White Men, which is an interesting way of committing electoral suicide.
