No, because the people that support Trump, etc. are in way, way too deep to ever have their minds changed. There is literally nothing that doesn’t directly affect them that will make them turn against Trump. It’s not rational; it’s worshipful.

And pretty much true of the people who loved Obama, too.

Politicians have their supporters, have always had their supporters, and always will have their supporters.

And those who are not supporters will always call out the other side as being not rational and impossible to reason with, because it’s always easier to insult somebody than do the hard work of explaining to them why they should change their minds.
