Since you are a self-described “data driven conservative” you should appreciate and applaud any effort to “condemn” fake news (i.e. words slapped together — however eloquently that may or may not be done — which only seek to express an opinion or a notion without referencing any sources or any credible sources) when it rears its ugly head.
And I of course do. What has that to do with the question I asked you?
Furthermore, you assume that I speak as if I am claiming to be part of #TheResistance when I was merely pointing out how subjective and outlandish his statements are. We are living through a time where fake news is perpetuated easily and widely distributed, where misinformation is potentially being used in dangerous and divisive manners.
So…….you don’t know what the answer to the question is? That’s fine. Just say so.
Therefore, it is more important than ever that journalists, bloggers, political thinkers, advocates, activists, [fill-in-the-blanks], etc. make the effort when expressing their thoughts to uplift FACTS and provide rational, substantive, and logical thought progressions. To do otherwise is irresponsible and counterproductive to any platform — conservative, liberal, or anything in between.
