Again, you present no evidence to support your claims other than a graph that goes to 2000 which supports my assertion and not yours.

And again, you miss the point.

We have a process called “elections”. That process is fundamental to the continuation of our republic. Ergo, it is only logical to harden that process to the best extent possible.

Put your “con” argument in a different context. How about credit card numbers? Let’s say a bank doesn’t encrypt credit card numbers in their database. They COULD encrypt credit card numbers, but it doesn’t bother because doing so would add relatively minor complications to their IT operations. Of course, the chances that they have a data breach that leads to the theft of those credit card numbers increases exponentially, but……hey, why worry?

You’re making the same argument. And it’s moot, btw. The SCOTUS has ruled that properly written voter ID requirements do not disenfranchise voters.

Which begs the question, why are you beating a dead horse?

Again, you present no evidence to support your claims other than a graph that goes to 2000 which supports my assertion and not yours.

Your assertion was that the emphasis on voter ID started commensurate with the Obama administration. The graph and the article disprove that assertion. The movement towards stricter forms of ID started well prior to the Obama Admin, and continued through it.

Most Americans have spent most of their lives not using an ID to vote. Voter ID was an issue in the 1950s Jim Crow South? So you’re saying that it’s a racist policy.

Illogical assertion. I have no quibble with the point that SOME voter ID measures had, in the past, racist overtones. It does not logically follow from that fact that all forms of positive voter ID are racist.

It’s pretty clear that you’re not even an American since I haven’t seen your long form birth certificate and you don’t know anything about the Constitution.

Right back at you. “It’s pretty clear” that you’re a Russian troll posting from St. Pete’s to increase distrust among politically minded individuals in the US.

Two can play at that game, dear.
