Yep. That had me flipping channels immediately, because if that’s how something starts, you don’t need to see how it ends. But, if you want to be part of the Dem “Club” these days, you have to pretend you believe that. And ignore the fact that making an enemy of a country who doesn’t want to be our enemy, but has a thousand nukes trained at our major cities, is not a good idea.
It would seem that Democrats pursue this conspiracy because Trump’s victory is a direct challenge to their faith in America as a meritocracy. If they can attribute it to external influence, they don’t need to modify their worldview.
True, but do keep in mind that both parties, after they lose, rationalize the reasons why they lost, in a way that allows them to not modify said worldview. It’s actually a failing of human nature, to blame your shortcomings on external forces.
