Nothing in my definition suggested social support. Your answer is framed in such a way as to say the people are controlled by politicians and not the other way around.

Actually I believe the opposite. I simply acknowledge that there is manipulation of fact by powerful interests to encourage certain behaviors.

I don’t know about that since it is the grayest state. My home town is the grayest town in the grayest county in the grayest state. Lots of retirees.

I think it’s “grayest” because the youth move away, but what I had in mind is this:

I think it obvious, prima facie. There is no motivation for a jurisdiction to offer abatements OTHER than tax revenues.

You are overlooking that wealth redistribution starts with the federal government.

Not seeing how that, or the other items you mentioned, contradict my statement.
