A poll that was just released asked Americans what issue was the most important to them as the Nov elections approach.

Abortion was at 5%, with about 10 issues (mostly economic related) polling above it.

I have, however, seen studies that show that "if everyone voted" would not change election results as much as some thing. Perhaps a 2-3% skew to the Dems.
